Role:      SOA Admin

 

Required Technical Skill Set:      Oracle SOA 11g Administrator

 

Desired Experience Range: 6+ years.

 

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have          

•       2+ years of experience in Oracle Weblogic 10+ Administration

•       2+ years of experience in Oracle SOA Administration

•       Expertise in Oracle Patching process

•        1+ years of experience in Solaris Administration

•        Expertise on Java/JEE, SQL and PL/SQL

•        Experience in web service testing using SOAP UI, Jmeter or other clients

 

Good-to-Have    

•         Experience with Oracle SOA 11g platform

•         Experience with Oracle Service Bus, BAM and B2B

•         Experience with Quality Tool like Quality Center or Clear Quest

•         Expertise on SOAP based web services

 

SN           Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1              Build new Oracle SOA environment clustered on  Weblogic Servers on Solaris OS

2              Execute build scripts in a controlled environment from Quality Center adhering to Client Qualification processes

3              Implement production deployments through appropriate change controls

4              Work with DB, monitoring and compute production support teams to ensure production environment are patched and updated regularly

5              Support the platform for production releases & day-2-day operations

6              Provide L1/L2 application solution support and perform root-cause analysis

7              Continuously monitor platform performance, growth, and scalability, and address any platform vulnerabilities.

8              Approve and sign off on all new SOA interfaces
